Send your HMO shortlist to your CEO or CFO for approval
You found the plans. Now someone else has to say yes. Send your shortlist, priced for your whole team, straight to the person who signs off, and get their reply in your inbox.

In most companies, the person who compares HMO plans is not the person who approves the spend. HR does the research, and then the CEO, CFO or a founder has to agree. Until now, getting the options in front of them meant screenshots, a spreadsheet, or a link and a long WhatsApp message.
You can now send your shortlist from Yousure directly to whoever signs off. They get a short email with each plan and its cost for your whole team, and when they reply, the reply comes to you.
Where to find it
Look for the Send to CEO/CFO button in two places:
- The compare page, when you have two or three plans side by side. This sends the whole shortlist.
- The quote page, when you have settled on one plan. This sends that single plan for a final yes.
How to send it
- Click Send to CEO/CFO.
- Enter their email address. Their first name is optional, but it makes the email read like it came from you.
- Add a note if you want to. This is the place for your recommendation, for example: "Hygeia is cheapest; Axa has better maternity cover." Keep it to a few lines.
- Click Send. You will see a confirmation that it has gone.
What your approver receives
The email comes from Yousure and says it was sent on your behalf. It includes:
- Your note, if you wrote one, at the top.
- Each plan you picked, with the HMO and the plan version (for example "Family · Corporate"), so there is no confusion between plans with similar names.
- The annual premium per employee.
- The annual total for your headcount. This is usually the number a CFO wants first.
- A button to see the benefits side by side. It opens the same comparison you were looking at. Your approver does not need to create an account to see it.
Prices are taken from the same plan data you saw on the site at the moment you send, so the numbers in the email match what you compared.
Want a copy for yourself first?
Next to the send button is Email me these. It sends the same summary to your own inbox. It is useful if you are not ready to decide, want to forward it yourself, or simply want the numbers somewhere you can find them later. It is also on the plans page, where it sends the plans you have ticked, or the top three if you have not ticked any.
Tips for getting a quick yes
- Send two or three options, not ten. A short list with a clear favourite is easier to approve than a long one.
- Say which one you recommend and why in the note. One line is enough.
- Lead with the total. The email already shows the annual cost for your whole team. If you have a budget figure from last year, mention it in your note for comparison.
- Check the hospitals near your offices before you send, so the question does not come back to you. Our guide to checking an HMO hospital list shows how.
Frequently asked questions
Does my CEO need a Yousure account?
No. They can read the email and open the comparison without signing up.
Does Yousure see what I send?
A copy of the email goes to our team inbox so an advisor can help if you or your approver have questions. We never sell your details to HMOs.
Can I send it to more than one person?
Send it once for each person. Each send is addressed to one person so the email can greet them by name.
